Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how SharePoint Apps handles your personal information. This policy applies specifically to the SharePoint List Manager Pro web part application and service, not our website.

Data Collection and Storage

What Data We Access

SharePoint SPFX webparts accesses the following information from your SharePoint environment:

  • User Profile Information: Display name and email address (provided by SharePoint authentication)
  • List Data: Content from SharePoint lists that you connect to the App, including items you create, edit, or have permission to view
  • User Activity: Records of which list items you create and edit within the App

How Data is Stored

All data remains within your SharePoint site collection. SPFX webparts does not:

  • Transfer data to external servers or third-party services
  • Store data outside your Microsoft 365 tenant
  • Use external databases or data sources
  • Collect or transmit data to our servers

Your information is stored and managed entirely by Microsoft SharePoint within your organization’s SharePoint environment, subject to Microsoft’s data handling practices and your organization’s SharePoint configuration.

How We Use Your Information

SPfX webpart uses your information solely to:

  1. Authenticate Access: Verify your identity through SharePoint authentication
  2. Display Relevant Data: Show you list items based on your SharePoint permissions
  3. Enable Editing: Allow you to create and modify your own list items
  4. Enforce Permissions: Ensure you can only edit items you created, while viewing all items you have read access to
  5. Provide Functionality: Deliver the core features of the App within SharePoint

Data Sharing

Our SPFX webparts does not share your data with any third parties. All data remains within your SharePoint environment and is governed by:

  • Your organization’s SharePoint permissions and policies
  • Microsoft 365 data residency and compliance settings
  • SharePoint’s native security controls

User Permissions and Rights

What You Control

  • Item Creation: You can create new items in connected SharePoint lists
  • Item Editing: You can edit items you created
  • Item Viewing: You can view all items you have read permissions for
  • App Removal: You or your administrator can remove the App at any time

Your SharePoint Permissions

The App respects your SharePoint permissions:

  • You can only access lists you have permissions for
  • You can only edit items you own (created)
  • You can view items based on your SharePoint read permissions
  • All access is controlled by SharePoint’s permission system

Third-Party Services

SharePoint List Manager Pro does not use any third-party services or external data sources. The App operates entirely within your SharePoint environment using only Microsoft’s SharePoint services.
